I'm a bit of a nut for good shoes, and I created a string on the subject on the Skylands Forum a long time ago. Well, this is a new forum, so I'm adding one for here as well.
Whats you favorite DG shoe, and most important... why?

My requirements are
- waterproof ( preferably Gore-tex)
- rugged
- super strong Toe ( because I scrape my toe on the tee when I flick, and usually drill a hole on the inside right foot toe area)
- comfortable enough to wear all day

I have tried many different brands, some are better than others.
One pair that I have had good result are:

the top part of the top guard is that soft foamy stuff, which I would wear through in about 5 rounds of a course with concrete \ paver tees...

My next pair will be Keens, with the full rubber toe. although I had a pair of them a long time ago and had a problem with the fit that would only affect me, my right ankle is a bit screwed up.
Keens are very popular DG shoe, and for good reason, and one of the few shoes still made in the USA.
