Workdays

Postby Patient Zero » Sat Jun 13, 2015 5:35 pm

It's been a busy few days out at the course.
I got together with the trail foreman on Wednesday to get a number of fallen logs cut up, and discussed some mowing details.
Since then he has cleaned a number of problem areas, including hole 1 green, 2 long, the walk to and the tees on 3, 17 fairway and green.
Today, Eric, John, and myself got some hand weed whipping done on 9 and 10.
MOST IMPORTANTLY...A local eagle scout and his troop were out with their dads, installing a new bridge over the stream on hole 15!!!!!
There was some great interest in our sport as something else to incorporate into their program. We will be looking into setting up some sort of clinic soon.
It's looking better, but we still have lots to do to get the rest of the course cleaned up.
We could really use some more help to get it looking it's best for the summer.

Time to resurrect this thread.
Weather is looking great for Sunday. Please stay around/ come after doubles for a much needed work day! Lots of chores to be done. Please give back an hour or two to the course we all love.
Thanks, :!:
